Classic Oatmeal – Steel Cut Oats

You will need

  • 1 cup Eat Up! Gluten Free Steel Cut Oats
  • 3 cups water
  • ¼ tsp salt (optional)


Bring water and salt to a boil and then add steel cut oats. Reduce heat to a low simmer and cook for 10-20 minutes, depending on how chewy you like your oats. Stir occasionally. Remove from heat and let stand covered for a few minutes. Yields about 3 cups.
